He’s always been there

Jeremiah 31:3 KJV
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Man, Daddy just keeps coming with the words I need. Following him is not always easy and most of the time pretty lonely. I feel like I’ve been alone my whole life; misunderstood and overlooked. So, lately, he’s just been reminding me that he’s always been there and he’s always loved me even when I felt abandoned and alone. I have to say in hindsight, it definitely makes sense because if it were not for him, I promise I would not be here. It is only by his grace and mercy and his strength that I didn’t give up and made it this far.

Through all of my mess. Have mercy. He was always there. He never gave up on me. At my lowest, he was there and continued to sustain me when I was ready to give up for the millionth time. I’ve done some stuff foolishly just out of sheer rebellion.

I had to put this in, lol. Why did Yet by The King Will Come play as I’m typing this? Baby! I broke. Tears falling, snotting, couldn’t breathe; all the ugliness, lol. I just had to give God the glory. He is not a God of coincidence. He is very intentional and he is serious about his babies. That’s me. 🙋🏽‍♀️

Anyway as I was saying, I used to do dumb stuff out of rebellion, just to get God to say something, feel something, do something. Any sin that I thought would hurt him and not kill me, I tried and he was still there. I remember one time, I was doing something I should not have been doing and I remember hearing a voice say, what would you do if I came right now? Oh boy! I stayed a little longer, but not much longer. I hightailed it outta there. At first, I was just like, I’m going to hell anyway, but he would not let my spirit rest. He was like nah, get up out of there. So eventually I left. He was there through all of my debauchery and he forgave me every time. Thank you, Jesus! Because Lord knows I was a hot mess. He is definitely long-suffering because he could have removed the hedge and cut me off a million times, but he didn’t. He held on to me and loved me back to him. Praise God! It’s still not easy, but I know I’m not alone and that’s enough for me. As long as he is still by my side, I don’t need anyone else.

He is there for you as well. No matter where you go, he’s there. No matter what you do, he’s there. There is a phrase they always use in K-dramas (sssshhh, don’t judge me), I’ve been waiting for you to look back and see me. God is there, he’s just waiting for you to turn back and reach out for him. He never left us, we ran from him. He’s still waiting. There is still time. Choose him before it’s too late.

A life for a life

Colossians 2:13-14 KJV
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; [14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Such a powerful passage of scripture. It reminds us of the price that was paid for our lives and how much we didn’t and don’t deserve it. While we were dead in our sins and the uncircumcision of our flesh. Have mercy. To actively participate in sin knowing that the wages thereof is death, you are spiritually dead. You are not alive until you are born again and accept Jesus Christ and your Lord and Savior. Likewise, to be uncircumcised means you are out of covenant with God. It means you have not chosen to be in a committed relationship with him. It means that you have not been adopted or have not accepted the gift of adoption being gentiles. But God! He accepted us despite all of that, forgave us of our sins against him, erased any trace of them. Anything that could convict us was expunged from our record. by the blood of Jesus, when he died on the cross for us.

Despite our constant desire to do our own thing. Despite our desire to serve other gods and worship other idols. Despite our desire to separate ourselves from him, to not be associated with him, he still loves us. He still accepts us. He is still waiting on us. The blood never fails. It still works. It can still wash away your sins and make you white as snow. All you have to do is accept him. Receive the gifts of salvation and eternal life. Give your life back to the one that paid it all. What do you have to lose and is it worth it? The choice is yours.

Will you be first or last?

Matthew 22:14 KJV
For many are called, but few are chosen.

What does this even mean? It sounds contradictory. How can many be called but not chosen? Doesn’t called mean you were chosen? I know there are some people that are confused by this phrase that has become such a cliche. In this chapter of Matthew, Jesus is talking with the Pharisees. They are asking him question after question trying to find a reason to get rid of him, a reason to call him a fake so he can stop undermining what they have taught the people. They want him to slip up so they can say how can this man that calls himself the messiah not know the scriptures, lol. It’s the same way the world looks at Christians. They are waiting for us to slip up and sin so they can say, how can you call yourself a Christian and you do this, that and the third. Does your God allow you to do that?

So, he uses a parable about a king that prepares for his son’s wedding. He decorates and has the feast prepared, but when the invitations go out no one will come. He sends his servants out several times to ask those people if they would come. Some of the invitees were so annoyed with the servants that they killed them. Like what? First of all, who is not going to a prince’s wedding when the king has invited you? Most people want to rub elbows with royalty, it makes them feel important. It gives them a reason to brag and look down on other people, but for some reason they didn’t want any parts of this wedding. Like they didn’t believe he should be king or that he wasn’t a good enough king. So, the king sent his armies to kill those people that killed his servants. Then he sent more servants out to ask whomever they found to attend his son’s wedding. A lot of people came, but when the king came into the wedding feast he saw someone who was not dressed in wedding garments so the king had him thrown out.

I had to ask the Lord to reveal the depths of this scripture because I knew there had to be more. Of course, we know that this parable is speaking of Jesus Christ who was sent to die for our sins. It is a foreshadowing of what was about to take place or what was taking place at that moment. The Lord sent out invitations to the Hebrews, but they rejected him; were currently rejecting him. God had sent out many of his servants and prophets to tell of the coming of Jesus, to prepare the way for his birth and to invite them to the wedding feast, but they rejected him and killed some of his servants. All through the Old Testament we see God sending his armies out to kill those who rejected him and his teachings and mistreated or killed his servants.

So what does it mean that many are called, but few are chosen. The call has gone out to the world. He has given everyone the opportunity to come to the wedding feast, the second coming, but few have actually accepted the invitation.

Well, what about the one that he had kicked out for not having on wedding attire? Doesn’t the bible say come as you are? Welp, there is no scripture that specifically says that and there is nothing you can do to get right before giving your life to Christ. Only the blood can cleanse you and only through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ can we change. The problem arises when you accept the invitation and still come unprepared. Does that make sense? The man who got kicked out had accepted the invitation. When you go to a wedding, there is a basic requirement to attend. The least you can do is be dressed properly. Notice he didn’t even require them to bring gifts, because our yes is the only thing we can give a King. Have mercy! It is common knowledge that you get cleaned up and dress a certain way for a wedding. I used to think it was too much. I had seen people go to great lengths to find clothes to wear to a wedding. Using it as an excuse to go buy new clothes. I was like, it’s not my wedding why do I need to get dressed up, but the Lord had to explain it to me. Even if it’s the wrong people getting married for all the wrong reasons, he has to show up. They are making a covenant before him so he has to be there. That blew my mind. Doesn’t matter if he chose them or if they chose for themselves. Doesn’t matter what calamities he knows will befall them, when they come together at that wedding he is there to seal the covenant. Have mercy. That is why he hates divorce. That is a tie that includes him and most people don’t understand that and don’t take it seriously. He keeps his end of the covenant, but we are so ready to cut ties and void the covenant. He is the only one who can break his covenants. That’s a whole other conversation.

That was a quick download. Um, so the man who was kicked out accepted the invitation and showed up unprepared. When we say yes to Jesus, there are things that are required of us. We can’t just come and do whatever we want to do or be however we want to be. We can’t just come to say we came. That is going to be the downfall of many “Christians”. They attend only to keep up appearances, not because they love and honor God and they will be judged – the outer darkness with the weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Chosen – having been selected as the best or most appropriate. Many are called, but few prove themselves to be the best or most appropriate. Few honor God in word and deed. Few represent the truth of God to the world. Few have answered with a pure heart.

It’s time to take a good hard look at your relationship with Christ; with God. He called us to the wedding feast. Will you be a foolish or wise virgin? Will you be prepared for his return? Are you clothed properly? The wedding feast is close at hand? Have you accepted the invitation? Are you attending? As always it’s your choice.

You can’t win favor from works

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

This. This right here is the saving grace of humanity and Christianity. So many people misinterpret or just misuse the scriptures that says faith without works is dead (James 2:20) and God helps those that help themselves ( not found in the bible). Faith without works is dead is not saying that if you don’t do works you don’t have faith. That is a misconception of the church, because there many in the church that only do works to boast and brag. Not even to prove they have faith. What most people fail to realize is that when you have faith, it produces works. It makes you more compassionate towards your brothers and sisters that are less fortunate, that are new to the faith, that are widowed, and orphaned. When you have faith, it produces fruit. That scripture if utilized in the context that most people say it would suggest that we can only get to heaven or be blessed by God if we do works. That the size of our faith is predicated on how much work we do. Which is simply not true.

The second phrase that has no biblical foundation and that is used quite a lot is that God helps those that help themselves. On the contrary, God helps those that cannot help themselves. He does not require you to fix yourself before you come to him. He wants you to bring all of your broken pieces to him so he can mend them. He wants all your bad habits and addictions, all your heartache and pain. You cannot fix yourself enough to be able to be considered clean to God. That can only be achieved but the blood of the Lamb, that makes us white as snow. This quote also implies that we can in some way assist God in his plans. Which we know we cannot, because we don’t know the thoughts of God and once we put our hands in it it is no longer God’s plan but how we think God’s plan to go.

We are saved by no strength or works of our own but by grace through our faith. What does that mean? It means that believing in Jesus Christ, we accepted his gift of grace. What is grace?  The free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings. It is only by faith and nothing we do that we receive grace, because as humans we would do it all for our own glory; for all the accolades and titles. Thus, our salvation could not be based on our works.

If you serve the Lord because of what you can receive and not because you truly love him and want to advance the Kingdom, you are in for a rude awakening. If you believe that you can get a VIP ticket into heaven because of all the works you do, you are in for a rude awakening. During the time of judgement you will only hear, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matt 7: 23)

Psalm 37: 29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. Psalm 37: 9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

There is no blessing or reward for those that try to buy their way into heaven. There is a special place for those pastors that try to scalp VIP tickets to the unsuspecting, unknowing congregations they are meant to serve. Woe unto those that mistreat God’s chosen. If this is you, repent. It’s never too late. God is giving you time to see the error of your ways. He has sent his prophets to warn you of empending consequences and doom. He never meant for you to work for your spot in heaven. That is why he sent his son to die on the cross. All you have to do is believe in him and produce the fruit that come from your faith. Jesus blood paid it all. Get right before it’s too late. As always the choice is yours.

We have got to do better

Colossians 3:12-15 KJV
[12] Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; [13] Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. [14] And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. [15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Let’s see. This message is for the church of course. As the elect of God, holy and beloved, like the armor of God we are to wear the qualities listed in this passage of scripture. The problem is, most people in the church pretend to have such qualities for the sake of appearance to outside world, when in truth they only have a form of godliness. It is evident in how they treat their brothers and sisters in Christ. Church hurt has driven so many people away from the house; infighting, jealousy, nepotism, self-righteousness, gossip. Instead of going to church for it’s intended purpose, people attend church like it’s high school and behave as such. Trying to outdo, out sing, out work, each other to gain the favor of who??? Instead of doing it because they love the Lord. Ijs!

Being a Christian is more than just proclaiming that you are. The Lord expects stuff from us. He expects us to display his characteristics to the world. He expects us to be fishers of men. He expects us to preach the Gospel unto all the nations. That can not take place when the church is so divided and full of chaos. When the church looks more like the world and an episode of some reality tv show. God is not pleased saints. People spend 20-30years in the church and never change resembling the Sadducees and Pharisees of ancient time than the bride of Christ we should have become.

Time is winding down saints. It’s time to choose. Will you truly give your life to Christ and fulfill your purpose in the earth or will you continue to be a vessel for the enemy disrupting the forward movement of the church? I don’t know about anyone else, but I am petrified to hear the Lord tell me to get away from him because he never knew me. As always though, the choice is yours.

You are not still here because of you

Psalm 103:8 KJV
[8] The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Look! What did I tell y’all. The whole world is having issues with their current circumstances. Much like the children of Israel, we are mumbling and complaining, wishing things would go back to normal. Truth is, there is no normal to go back to, not like it use to be. Egypt is no longer the same. Truth is, instead of complaining we should be excited for where he’s taking us. It may be to a literal promised land, it may be to a different land, it may just be a shift in your mindset, saving your family, sparing you or a loved one from death. This time that he’s given us, he’s done so much for so many yet we keep looking for something better when he’s performed miracles right in front of us.

He has kept us and lead us through this crazy time in the world. He protected us from harm. He exposed the lies of the enemy. He removed the fear. He imparted wisdom. He enhanced discernment. I could go on and on. He has definitely proven himself to many. Those that allowed him and even many that didn’t, because he is fair and just.

Things could have been so much worse for so many of us, but he kept us to prove that he is exactly who he says he is. His mercy has been evident in his dealings with us over the past two years. His great love for us has been evident over the past two years as he has held back what is to come, to give us time to choose. The only other time that I can recall, off the top of my head, the Lord holding something back was when he split the Red Sea so the children of Israel could cross over on dry land as Pharaoh’s army chased after them. I don’t know about anyone else, but I definitely see the correlation. He allowed a lot of us to leave corporate America that had us in bondage. He allowed us to leave those jobs and those relationships that oppressed us and kept us from walking in our calling. He has made a way out of no way for those who have been obedient. He has kept us while “Pharaoh” seeks to persecute and destroy us. You can’t tell me my God isn’t good.

Sometimes it takes a bit of a reminder, however, when we start complaining or questioning too much. To give your life to Christ, you must trust him wholly and completely. There is no half way. He didn’t give half of his life to save yours. So, he wants your whole life in return; your spouse, your kids, your mama, your daddy, your g-ma, your job, your best friend, your finances, your vehicle, your hobbies. He wants it all. It would probably be best to do it while he is still being merciful and slow to anger. He has given us time and warned us multiple times. We should be using this time wisely and choosing wisely in this time. We should be moving wisely and obediently in this time.

Jude 1:17-25 KJV
[17] But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; [18] How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. [19] These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. [20] But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, [21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. [22] And of some have compassion, making a difference: [23] And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. [24] Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, [25] To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

As always, the choice is yours. Daddy doesn’t force himself on anyone. I make the choices I make not just for me and my family, but for the many people we were sent here to save. I may grumble and complain when it feels like it’s too much for me to handle, but I don’t take my purpose here on earth for granted. I understand the assignment and the message I was sent to carry. As with the disciples, whoever does not receive the message I carry, I will simply shake the dust and keep moving, that goes for family, friends, and strangers alike. I pray that everyone I know and love and everyone that hears the messages I was sent to share will all choose to receive, but if they don’t…I did my part. I carried out my duty to them. All I can do after that is pray and leave them at the mercy of our Father. Don’t get stuck in the world trying to save people.

Ok, I’ve rambled on enough. As you can probably tell, I could go on for hours. The point is, the choice is always yours. Everyday, God’s mercies are new. Everyday, he gives us the opportunity to do better, be better, to choose him. Don’t wait until Daddy releases the Red Sea to return to its natural state. Don’t wait until the doors of the ark are closed and rain waters are rising. Choose before it’s too late.

Who you choose to keep around you says a lot about you

Proverbs 27:5-6 KJV
[5] Open rebuke is better than secret love. [6] Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

Well, I have always struggled with this. I’m not as eloquent a speaker as I am a writer. When writing, you can add the softened, flowery words to make them more palatable for your reader. In speech, it is quite different for me. There is a gruffness/ roughness that I have had since childhood. Instead of sugar coated gumdrops dripping from my lips when I tell you that you were wrong, it comes off as if I am cursing your family for generations. I have learned to be more tactful in my older age, but I still have no filter. Instead of hurting peoples feelings, more often than not I will just remain silent. Which doesn’t help anyone.

I am quite passionate about my Daddy. I am passionate about healing and walking in purpose. I am most definitely passionate about saving people from the lies of the enemy and in that passion, I can become loud and even come off angry. Anyone that knows me that it is always in love. It’s just that everyone can not handle my straightforward passion. So, in that I say please don’t ask me anything if you really don’t want to know. Lest you may walk away with hurt feelings at the least. At worst, you may resent me and never want to speak to me again. IJS. I know me and I will always keep it 100.

Even in your healing. I will not hold back in telling you what needs to be done, that you’re procrastinating, and how much better it will be when you let go, because I’ve been there and we don’t have time. It took me a long time to forgive Daddy for letting me go through everything I went through. It wasn’t even that I didn’t understand the reason, it’s just I didn’t understand how he could let those he called his chosen, his beloved, go through such horrible situations. Not only how he could let it happen, but how he could let it happen and not send someone for emotional support, some kind of help.

I realize he sent me to be for everyone else what I didn’t have and I’m passionate about that. I’m passionate about not wasting time wallowing in pity, but healing and walking in purpose. I took too long to get it, so I am passionate about rapid acceptance and healing. I know, not everyone is me, as my kids say, but it’s all for his glory. It is better to have someone telling you what you need to hear, than to let you choose self destruction. The road to healing can be as long and as tiring as you want it to be, but it doesn’t have to be.

Stop being so sensitive! We want to cut people off for telling us what they should and we keep around those vipers with honey dripping from their lips. It’s easier to believe the lies of the enemy, than the truth from Daddy. That is why so many believers are being deceived about what is going on in the world right now, but I digress. My circle knows I hold no punches when it comes to the truth and you either want to hear it or you don’t. You can either handle the delivery or you can’t. What they can never say is that my words were malicious in intent. It’s all in love because I want to see everyone in heaven. Amen? Iron sharpens iron. How sharp can iron get if it’s being sharpened with brass? I’ll wait!

I don’t know why I keep getting these messages

Matthew 7:12 KJV
[12] Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

This chapter of Matthew read like the book of psalm to me. A lot of good nuggets of wisdom, one after the other. Like Jesus knew his time was coming and he wanted to impart as much wisdom onto his disciples as possible. Just saying that ‘s how it kinda feels to me.

In this rat race we call life, people tend to live like crabs in a barrel. Always trying to get to the top; scratching, clawing, stepping on each other to get there. It’s only a rat race for those that listen to the lies of the enemy. During my tenure as a nurse, I had to remind several of my bosses that money didn’t move me because I knew who truly provided for me and I was not about to kill myself in stupid pride just to feel like I did something myself. People did not understand. I’m not working overtime, missing out on valuable sleep that I barely get because I work midnights to raise a family and take care of my mother during the day (all without taking a breath). I’m already working against my bodies I internal clock, not gonna do more damage than I’ve already done.

AND! You’re not gonna make me feel bad about it. I loved my jobs, but I loved the Lord more and I knew that if I didn’t rest in him as much as I could, well let’s just say I knew how I could get.

So, what is the law of the prophets? The cross reference goes back to Matt 5: 45-45, 48.

Matthew 5:44-45 KJV
[44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; [45] That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Matthew 5:48 KJV
[48] Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Whether you are called to be a prophet, a pastor, a teacher, missionary, any of the five field ministry or the body of Christ (that means all of us), this is your mandate. Love and pray for everyone. Live a Christlike life, show them through your walk and talk that you are a child of the Most High that exposes evil, uplifts good, and blesses believers and unbelievers alike.

As always, the choice is yours. If you know, then you know that your time is limited. If you seriously have to deliberate whether to answer your calling at this stage of the game, then God bless you. If you are just beginning to know, you still have time and I pray you have good people around you to help you understand. Develop a healthy prayer life, it is your lifeline. A real relationship with Christ is your safety and your anchor for all that is about to come. Can’t walk the fence to just wait and see, that fence is about to be demolished. Choose eternity, choose God.

He chose us even though we rejected him

Isaiah 53:4-6 KJV
[4] Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. [5] But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. [6] All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Look! Daddy still has me talking about choices. He is still extending his Grace for those who have not chosen him. This is like one of those Job moments, when Daddy has to remind us who he really is and what he’s done for us. Here he talks about how he sent his son. How his son suffered because of our sin. Yet, we mocked him and called him a fake.We handed him over to be killed and even to this day there are quite a few people that still won’t acknowledge him as the Messiah, the True and Living God.

We have all turned ur backs on him at some point or another. We have committed adultery with other idols; those things that we place more importance on in our lives; relationships, money, jobs, all those things that we think we need to be comfortable, to survive. When the truth is, all we need is him. Now and forever. He went through so much, so that we would still be here thousands of years later to tell of his goodness, his mercy, and his love. He died so thousands of years later, he would still have witnesses to speak on his behalf and fight the good fight. He died so that thousands of years later, we would realize the small stuff we’ve been through doesn’t compare with his sacrifice so we can help others like us.

I don’t know what’s holding you back. Pay attention to the world and what’s going on. The enemy has waged war on the masses and anyone caught without a covering from the Lord will be lost. They’ll be like the waves, tossed to and fro. You can’t look at other countries and think it can’t happen to us. No one thought we would be attacked by terrorists, but 9/11 happened. Make the right choice. Living for eternity is the reward in heaven. The blessings on are are immeasurable when you choose him. It’s 2022 y’all. We can’t keep procrastinating waiting for this all to blow over, it’s not. It’s only going to intensify. Choose wisely.

Even unto death he is with us

Psalm 48:14 KJV
[14] For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

The holiday season is not always kind to some. Those that deal with mental health issues or are still grieving loved ones has a particularly hard time this time of year. The gloomy winter weather does not help those that live in areas where it snows or the sun rarely shines. This is a playground for the enemy. This is the time where he quite possibly tells the most lies.

This is the time of year where he irritates atheist with the celebrations of the birth of our Lord and Savior, he oppresses those with depression, he incites those with anxiety, and he saddens those who are grieving. Anything to take your mind off the reason for the season. He even uses those that refuse to celebrate because it’s not actually when Jesus was born to start the same old argument every year. There is so much going on this time of year and the pandemic is not helping whatsoever, because on top of the afore mentioned issues there are those that are facing hunger, homelessness, regret and guilt for not being able to buy Christmas gifts for their children. No matter what’s going on, we need to remember the why.

Let me tell you. Not having money for Christmas presents has meaning. Maybe God is trying to teach you or your children not to be materialistic and/ or entitled brats. Maybe facing hunger is a reminder that he is our provider. It’s possible that facing homelessness is the door you need to walk through to get to your promised land. We focus on the wrong things and then blame God. A true relationship with him can and will reveal his true intentions. It may not give us the whole picture and sometimes he won’t tell us the why’s but he’ll be right there constantly nudging and guiding us in the way we should go.

He will always be there for us. He will always lead us down the path of righteousness. He will always steer us toward our calling. Through all the ups and downs of life; the good times and the bad, the absolutely terrifying to the most horrific moments in our lives, he is there. There is always a lesson to learn and gift to perfect, a character trait that could use some adjustment. If you ever sit down and really think about what your calling truly is and the people you are sent to minister to, your experiences, your demeanor, your gifts and talents and the lessons you’ve learned will all make sense and will play a major role in your calling. Everything absolutely happens for a reason. Once we get over the bitterness and hurt and anger and see our lives for what they truly are, we can begin to understand our walk and how it can affect those it was sent to reach.

Going into the new year, we need to change our perspectives on life, our calling, our family, what we truly believe in. The day is really coming when we have to decide who’s side we’re on. Instead of looking for normal, look to the Kingdom. It is close at hand.
